My oldest at 13 yrs, Pooka was found when he was 6 weeks old. New neighbors had moved in with pups that kept 'disappearing' from their yard. For no reason I had a strong urge to just walk outside one day and heard him crying. He had fallen 4' into a ditch filled with a few inches of water. When we got him out my neighbor came and tried to take him, I looked at her and said, "Like h3ll you will"...he's been my faithful shadow since. We know the mother was a black lab and believe the father may have been border collie.
